About Company

Green Health & Development Cooperative (GHDC) is an innovative cooperative of 15 members focused on creating synergies between livestock, agriculture, and income-generating activities to strengthen economic autonomy and community development. With a startup capital of 12,000,000 BIF over 12 months, GHDC implements a structured action plan: primary goat farming with 30 breeding goats, diversified crop production (potatoes, maize, leafy vegetables, and pineapples), complementary livestock (chickens and beekeeping), and establishment of robust institutional and governance systems. The cooperative aims to be officially registered with ANACOOP, ensure sustainable production from its farms and livestock, and generate revenues reinvested for members’ well-being, while contributing to local development through responsible agricultural and livestock practices.
