Food and Environ Centre Ltd (FECL) is a private company that was established in 2006 with a major goal of engaging agro processing activities while providing consultancy services in agribusiness, agricultural value chain management and other related activities. It is currently located in Kyanja, Gayaza Road on Plot 4997 where the company is running a yoghurt agro processing facility where it is processing different types of yoghurts in different flavors under various types of packaging materials. The facility is equipped with various processing and packaging units that are used for the processing of yoghurt as well as a fleet of refrigerated vans used in marketing the products. The company is further engaged in the development of other products from fruits that include juices and sauces from natural fruits that will soon be added to the dairy products on the market.
