Sigomre Organic Agriculture Program (SOAP) is a grassroots initiative empowering rural farmers through climate-smart agriculture, organic farming practices, and sustainable livelihoods. Operating in western Kenya, SOAP addresses climate change by promoting agroecological methods and enhancing soil health through organic inputs. The program provides continuous extension services and hands-on training to build farmers’ resilience, improve food security, and reduce environmental degradation. By strengthening local capacities, especially among youth and women, SOAP fosters inclusive growth and community-led adaptation to climate impacts.
