About Company

In Kenya, smallholder farmers face shrinking land, erratic rains, and food insecurity, while families—especially in low- and middle-income areas—struggle with hidden hunger and micronutrient deficiencies. Nutri Shrooms turns these challenges into opportunities through mushroom farming: a climate-smart, resource-efficient, and nutrient-dense solution requiring little land or water. We empower farmers with training, market access, and circular economy practices by repurposing farm waste. At the same time, we produce affordable, nutrient-rich mushroom foods: porridge, instant cereals, and powders that strengthen nutrition for households. Our mission: to build agricultural, health, and economic resilience while helping communities withstand climate and environmental shocks.
