Kilum-ijim White Honey Association (kiwha)
The Kilum/Ijim White Honey Association (KIWHA) is the umbrella organization created in March 29th, 2011. KIWHA controls the production, processing, packaging, marketing of Oku White honey and the protection of Kilum-Ijim forest. The Association is aimed at bringing together the actors of the honey value chain willing to engage in the original quality approach of the Oku white honey and the preservation of Kilim-Ijim forest. Oku White Honey was recognized and registered as a Geographical Indication Product in 2013 by the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI). KIWHA has a vision to make with honey Available, Known for its health benefits and Consumed Internationally.
