Together with our Team and Board of Directors, the African Food Changemakers Ambassadors are determined to contribute to our mission of driving profitable and sustainable growth of the African agriculture and food landscapes by attracting, empowering, equipping, connecting and celebrating over 1 Million dynamic and innovative young African agri-food entrepreneurs. across the continent for the transformation of Africa’s agricultural landscape.
Founder, JAMANAKASENE
A trained lawyer and Malian entrepreneur, Almoustapha Berthe has over 10 years of experience, including 8 years in community development focused on sustainable agriculture and 2 years in microfinance. He worked at MyAgro, an organization specializing in sustainable agriculture, where he held several key positions, developing skills in management, sales, and performance evaluation.
In 2022, he founded JAMANAKASÉNÉ, an AgriTech company revolutionizing agriculture in Mali through a flexible mobile payment system that enables producers, mainly women, to access quality agricultural inputs. The company also offers technical training to improve yields and strengthen food safety.
Almoustapha is also an alumnus of the YALI Dakar Regional Leadership Center (Session S24 Business & Entrepreneurship). It works for inclusive development focused on the empowerment of rural communities
