Founder, KR Foods
Ikechukwu Kingsley Amajuoyi is a graduate of industrial chemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, with a postgraduate diploma in environmental chemistry. With over a decade of experience in entrepreneurship and business administration, he has emerged as a pioneering force in Nigeria’s agribusiness landscape.
He is the founder of KR Foods, a rapidly growing indigenous palm oil brand recognized for its quality, traceability, and positive impact. With a presence in over six major cities across Nigeria and a growing footprint in diaspora markets, KR Foods stands as a model of scalable, inclusive, and ethical agribusiness.
Driven by a passion for innovation and community transformation, Ikechukwu combines entrepreneurial acumen with a deep commitment to data-led development. As Deputy Hub Lead (South East) for the Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network (SBN) Nigeria and a former Monitoring and Evaluation Officer on a GAIN-supported project, he champions inclusive strategies that strengthen agricultural value chains and uplift smallholder farmers.
In addition to his work in enterprise development, Ikechukwu serves as a Registered Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), where he provides technical expertise to support businesses in improving their investment readiness, corporate governance and export competitiveness.
His forward-thinking approach is reinforced by continuous learning and holding professional certifications in food and agribusiness from Nexford University, Fate Foundation, and GIZ. His leadership and enterprise have been nationally recognized: in 2020, KR Foods was named one of Nigeria’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing SMEs by Business Day, and in 2021, he was nominated for the National MSME Award for Excellence in Agriculture.
