Charles Ndiritu Waititu

CEO, Truecare Farm

Charles Ndiritu Waititu is a graduate of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. He has actively contributed to climate change policy development, having served as a climate change policy analyst at the Permanent Mission of Kenya to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

Passionate about grassroots conservation, he is the founder of Truecare Farm, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering women, youth groups, and students to become climate change advocates within their communities. Truecare Farm operates as an integrated model farm featuring poultry, a fruit orchard, and ten colonized Langstroth beehives. Plans are in place to expand to thirty hives and engage twenty farmer groups in apiary management training over the next two years.

With over three years of experience, he has led experiential training programs for women and youth-led Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), specializing in sustainable agriculture, regenerative farming practices, and commercial forestry, particularly in Kenya's arid and semi-arid regions.
