Together with our Team and Board of Directors, the African Food Changemakers Ambassadors are determined to contribute to our mission of driving profitable and sustainable growth of the African agriculture and food landscapes by attracting, empowering, equipping, connecting and celebrating over 1 Million dynamic and innovative young African agri-food entrepreneurs. across the continent for the transformation of Africa’s agricultural landscape.
Founder, Casta Farms
Tobenna Asomugha, a native of Okpuno-Otolo in Nnewi, Anambra State, is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various industries. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Casta Farms Limited, the managing director of Eco Nova Light Limited, a clean energy solution company, and the co-founder of Elyte Fashion Designs Limited, a unisex tailoring company where he serves as a strategic manager.
Prior to establishing the above enterprises, he set up Solaite International Limited to cater to immediate household needs.
Tobenna also spent nine years at Ibeto Cement Company Limited, Port Harcourt, in various roles, including accountant, cashier, store manager, and customer representative manager at different times.
Tobenna is currently an internal auditor for Unegbe Ventures Investment Limited, a mentor at beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship, and an ambassador to African Food Changemakers (AFC).
Tobenna earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Uyo, Nigeria.
