Lake Farms grows fish in floating cages on Lake Kariba using sustainable and industry best practice methods. The company sells the fish at an affordable price to women fish traders. The women sell the fish to their customers and earn money to pay school fees, hospital bills and buy groceries. Lake Farms supplies new fishing gear, boats, life jackets, traps and net to fishermen. This allows the youths to catch fish using sustainable fishing methods. Established in 2016, Lake Farms has grown to become one of the largest suppliers of high-quality fresh water crayfish and tilapia in the country.
