VegExpress is a Nigerian fruit processing and wellness company founded rooted in Jos, one of the country’s most productive agricultural regions. Nigeria loses up to 30–60% of fruits and vegetables after harvest due to limited cold-chain and processing infrastructure. We address this challenge by sourcing directly from smallholder farmers and transforming fresh produce into bottled juices, frozen fruit packs, and white-label beverage solutions for restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and events. We extend shelf life, reduce food waste, and create stable demand for farmers and local aggregators. Our model connects agriculture to modern urban markets, making healthy beverages more accessible while strengthening local food systems. VegExpress combines local sourcing, value-added processing, and scalable distribution to create year round economic opportunities for farmers and consumers.
