Am into farming, I crop maize and carrot from the beginning of the year around February. I plant maize which normally takes 3-4 months before harvesting. Meaning if I plant on February, I harvest by June (1st phase) June to October (second phase). Afterwhich I switch to carrot farming by October and it takes 2-4 months for carrot to be ready for harvest. Women who sell maize by the roadside and other places are my buyers. They Normally come to buy when the maize when it is at it's early stage of maturity because at that time it is soft and good for eating. Either (roasted or cooked) For carrot am selling it to dealers who will just come and see the farm, then bargain for the size they want and pay. They will be the one to call labourers that will harvest, package the harvested carrot and it will be off for market. Hackers also buy but in small quantity.
