ULAMAS GLOBAL ENTERPRISES, established in June 2015 as a sole proprietary company, with the prime aim of production of and marketing of chicken, eggs, fresh fish, fish fillet, and smoked fish in Kaduna. The company took-off its operation in November 2015 with 205 points of lay (POL). As at January 2020, the company has grown up with 2000 day old chicken (DOC) to be sell-off when they attain table size, 1500 layers for eggs. The main economic significance of the venture is its contribution towards narrowing down the fish and poultry demand – gap deficit in Nigeria as well as the supply chain of proteins and micronutrients for feeding the teeming population of Kaduna state, its environs, Nigeria and Africa at large, whereby boosting the domestic fish and poultry supply in the country and export purpose too. The company will distinguish itself in its line of operations in fish farming by adopting current innovations/technology available at hand, other than using traditional methods of poultry/fish farming system, which most poultry/catfish farmers in Kaduna resulted to.
