Grumium Engineering is a Zimbabwean climate tech startup building Africa's first locally-developed AI and IoT platform for smallholder farmers. Our solution combines proprietary soil sensors with computer vision technology to deliver real-time irrigation and pest alerts via mobile app or SMS. We serve 1,000 farmers who have achieved 30% higher yields and 35% water savings, with 1,500 more on our waiting list. We are Earthshot Prize 2026 nominees with $26,000 in grants from UNESCO, EU, and Mastercard Foundation, and a partnership with Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority. Our mission is to build community-owned climate resilience across Africa.
