Grumium Engineering Pvt Ltd is a Zimbabwean company that designs and builds its technology locally. Our main product for farmers is TerraScan, a soil device paired with a mobile app that works without internet. TerraScan measures soil nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium), conductivity and moisture, then tells the farmer how much fertiliser to apply and runs irrigation automatically. About 700 farmers have paid for TerraScan services and about 12,000 have been reached in total. Our aim is to help smallholder farmers grow more using less fertiliser and water.
