Ambassadors

Dorothée Mvondo Nganti is a plant biotechnologist (PhD), agripreneur, and educator with over a decade of experience in agricultural research, digital innovation, and rural development across Central Africa.

As co-founder and COO of Agrix Tech, she has developed three impactful digital solutions for smallholder farmers: an offline AI crop disease diagnostic tool (Agrix Maladie), an SMS-based technical advisory system (OGPA-ST), and a digital agricultural credit platform (OGPA-FA) – bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and the real needs of farmers. Her work has empowered hundreds of farmers, built strong partnerships with financial institutions and telecom operators, and positioned her as a trusted voice in agritech innovation.

Parallel to her entrepreneurial journey, she serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Higher Institute of Agronomy of Central Africa (ISAAC – UCAC) in Bangui, where she designs curricula and teaches agritech, agribusiness, and phytopathology. She also mentors young agripreneurs across the region and, as the newly appointed Regional Ambassador for African Food Changemakers, champions inclusive innovation, regional collaboration, and sustainable food systems. Her mission: to make agricultural innovation a powerful lever for development for women, youth, and rural communities across Central Africa.
