Together with our Team and Board of Directors, the African Food Changemakers Ambassadors are determined to contribute to our mission of driving profitable and sustainable growth of the African agriculture and food landscapes by attracting, empowering, equipping, connecting and celebrating over 1 Million dynamic and innovative young African agri-food entrepreneurs. across the continent for the transformation of Africa’s agricultural landscape.
Co-founder, PriFrimps Foods
Gifty Frimpong is the co-founder and production lead of PriFrimps Foods, an agro-processing company based in Cape Coast, Ghana, dedicated to reducing post-harvest losses through innovative food processing solutions.
Holding a bachelor's degree in management, she is passionate about creating sustainable value from agricultural produce while promoting food security and economic empowerment. Through PriFrimps Foods, Gifty leads the processing of yam into high-quality chips and slices, extending the crop's shelf life and improving its year-round availability.
Her work contributes to minimizing food waste, supporting local farmers, and strengthening agricultural value chains. As an AFC Ambassador, Gifty is committed to championing innovation, collaboration, and inclusive agribusiness development to drive lasting impact across Ghana and the broader African agrifood ecosystem.
