Founder and CEO, Pâtisserie Al-Zouère
Assan Ibrahim Hadjara is a Nigerien entrepreneur, youth leader, and advocate for agrifood innovation. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Pâtisserie Al-Zouère, in Zinder-based enterprise dedicated to promoting locally sourced agricultural products through the production of healthy foods while creating economic opportunities for women and young people.
Through her enterprise, she trains women and youth in agrifood processing, entrepreneurship, and income-generating activities, with the vision of making agribusiness a driver of sustainable development in Niger.
Recognized for her commitment to youth leadership, women's entrepreneurship, and social innovation, she has participated in several leadership programs across Africa and has received national and international recognition for her contributions to the agrifood sector.
In 2026, she was appointed Country Representative – Niger for African Food Changemakers (AFC), where she supports the growth of Africa's agrifood ecosystem by fostering partnerships, strengthening agripreneurs, and promoting innovative solutions.
