Founder, Food Masters Africa
Linda Manyeza is an award-winning agro-processing entrepreneur, food systems leader, and sustainability advocate serving as the Regional Ambassador – South Africa for African Food Changemakers. She previously served as Value Chain Ambassador – Agro-processing for African Food Changemakers in 2025, where she championed value addition, post-harvest loss reduction, and innovative agro-processing solutions in South Africa.
As Founder and Director of Food Masters Africa, she transforms imperfectly shaped, undersized, and surplus fruits and vegetables that might otherwise end up in landfills into nutritious, shelf-stable foods while empowering women, youth, and smallholder farmers through entrepreneurship, skills development, and market-led value chain development. Through her ongoing training and capacity-building programmes, she continues to train and mentor farmers, entrepreneurs, and community groups in South Africa and Zimbabwe, while also supporting capacity-building initiatives in Namibia, strengthening local food systems, livelihoods, and enterprise development.
Linda is committed to advancing food security, circular economy solutions, and regional collaboration and welcomes partnerships that strengthen resilient and inclusive food systems across Southern Africa. Her contributions have earned continental recognition, including Second Runner-up in the AGRA VALUE4HER Women Agripreneur of the Year Awards (2021) and First Runner-up in the African Food Changemakers Agri-food Ecosystem Catalyst Awards (2025), alongside recognition for winning food waste innovation challenges in South Africa.
