Together with our Team and Board of Directors, the African Food Changemakers Ambassadors are determined to contribute to our mission of driving profitable and sustainable growth of the African agriculture and food landscapes by attracting, empowering, equipping, connecting and celebrating over 1 Million dynamic and innovative young African agri-food entrepreneurs. across the continent for the transformation of Africa’s agricultural landscape.

Founder and Director, Association of Women in Small Business (AWSB)

Sebabatso Evelinah Masienyane is a development practitioner, entrepreneur, and community leader with extensive experience in entrepreneurship development, women’s economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and stakeholder engagement across Southern Africa.

She is the Founder and Director of the Association of Women in Small Business (AWSB), an organization dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), promoting sustainable livelihoods, and strengthening enterprise development through capacity building, market access, and advocacy.

In 2023, she founded the Environmental Protection Hub, an initiative that promotes environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and community-driven solutions to support sustainable development and responsible natural resource management.

Sebabatso is a final-year Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Her academic and professional interests focus on sustainable entrepreneurship, agrifood systems, SME development, women-led enterprises, climate resilience, and inclusive economic growth.
