Founder, Agrihive Garden (Pty) Ltd

Tiisetso Ivy Sefatsane is an accomplished agribusiness entrepreneur, climate-smart agriculture advocate, and passionate champion for women's empowerment in agriculture. Driven by a commitment to addressing food insecurity through innovation, she leverages modern agricultural technologies to build sustainable food systems while creating opportunities for women and young people in Lesotho's agrifood sector.

She is the Founder of Agrihive Garden (Pty) Ltd, an agribusiness specializing in the production of high-quality vegetable seedlings that support farmers with improved planting materials for enhanced productivity. She also serves as the Operations Manager at AfriPonics (Pty) Ltd, where she oversees the production of leafy vegetables using hydroponic systems, promoting resource-efficient and climate-smart farming practices.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Tiisetso is deeply committed to advancing climate resilience, agricultural innovation, and inclusive economic development. Her work focuses on equipping women and girls with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to actively participate in commercial agriculture while embracing sustainable farming methods that strengthen food security and environmental stewardship.

Tiisetso holds a qualification in Tourism from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Lesotho, and has continued to expand her leadership and professional capacity through several prestigious development programmes. She is a 2022 Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumna, a Lesotho Renewable Energy and Energy Access Project Ambassador, a 2024 One Million Leaders Africa Alumna, and a 2024 Raymond Ackerman Academy Alumna.

Through her leadership, innovation, and dedication to community impact, she continues to inspire the next generation of agrifood entrepreneurs and contribute meaningfully to the transformation of Africa's food systems.
