Founder and CEO, Intellect Co. Ltd
Wisal Ahmed is a nutrition and food systems innovator, entrepreneur, and public health professional with a passion for advancing sustainable agrifood solutions across Africa. She is the Founder and CEO of NutriAid Biz, Intellect Multiactivity Co. Ltd., and Emporium Sudan LLC, where she leads the development of innovative, nutrition-focused food products and circular economy solutions, including pioneering sesame-based food innovations.
Holding a Master's degree in Public Health with a specialization in Nutrition, Wisal brings together expertise in food innovation, business development, and humanitarian nutrition to address food security and improve livelihoods. Her work has engaged leading organizations, including the World Food Programme (WFP), UNIDO, Mercy Corps, and the UAE Food Cluster, while her patented innovations reflect her commitment to transforming local agricultural resources into scalable, value-added products.
As an African Food Changemakers (AFC) Agrifood Narrative Ambassador, Wisal champions innovation, inclusive entrepreneurship, and sustainable food systems that empower communities and strengthen Africa's agrifood ecosystem.
