About Company

Sokomak Technologies is an agritech company, a Delaware C-Corp with a local entity, Sokomak Technologies SAS, in Conakry. It aggregates agricultural commodities (maize and soy for now), connects smallholder farmers to markets, and builds the digital and financial infrastructure around them. It operates through farmer federations, with 5,200 producers registered in Guinea and 40 field agents. Two products sit alongside the core business: ProxiChamp is a marketplace that aggregates agricultural inputs, equipment rental and services. Farmers book and pay by Mobile Money, and ProxiChamp takes a commission depending on the transaction type. It is being deployed in Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire and Benin. Saaboui is a microcredit infrastructure layer that lets banks and microfinance institutions finance inputs, equipment and services for farmers. It is a pure technology layer: it never lends or guarantees, and the partner institutions carry the credit risk.
