I met Dr Bello at the just concluded Africa Cassava Conference in Abuja. He talks extensively on the investment on cassava. It's important we find a way to bridge the gap between the local farmers and the investor in the value chain. We must use the local farmers to bridge that gap

Cassava market is a very large one and will continue to do well among other staple foods. Stakeholders in the value chain must ensure that top quality production is maintained at all times to keep this product top of the mind for the consumers and to also grow the industry.
